I've always been fascinated by the things we hide, even from ourselves.
The layers we create, the things we choose to reveal, and the things we believe we've concealed.
It's interesting how much we think we can control what others see, when sometimes they can see
right through us.
In this painting, the translucent layers and rich reds create an interplay between what is visible and
what is hidden, something I've always been drawn to exploring in my work.
I love the mystery of what lies beneath the surface, and how something can be both concealed and
revealed at the same time.
And sometimes, just a glimmer is enough to make us look a little closer.
