Before Sleeping Beauty, there was Talia. In the spinning room of fate she pricked her finger on the fine end of a flax thread… flax, the source for painters’ oil and linen. Pierced, she fell unconscious. More than nine months later her Sun child and Moon child were born. The children drew out the splinter which broke the spell and awoke their mother, Talia.
