"Metaphor" was created gradually, in a slow process of gluing, carving, and illustrating the pages of a sketchbook. Inspired by the theme of this group exhibition, I wanted to create a book that felt quietly hopeful. We spend so much of our time looking for hints of joy - a glimmer in the shadows - because even small things can become our biggest source of strength in the darkest hours.
