For me, “Glimmer” brought to mind the image of a mother holding her child in her arms.

I was inspired by old photographs to portray this precious and nostalgic moment. It is a bond that has endured throughout the ages, and one that can also be found in depictions of the Madonna and Child, which hold a special place in my work.

My figures are always imbued with a gentle and mysterious sense of strangeness, which has become part of my artistic world.
