Basia Wesolowska aka My Lands of Glass

Originally from Poland and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Basia Wesolowska designs towering architectures that are both dreamlike and phantasmagorical, comprising a collection she calls Lands of Glass. Her works, unique houses designed as theatre sets, seem imbued with magic.

She builds and erects them step by step, fully expressing her vision, then keeps them in jars like a wizard or alchemist.

An admirer of the work of Studio Ghibli, the famous Japanese animation studio, she creates extravagant devilling instead to spark the viewer's curiosities.
