Sugarcoat

Allison Bamcat is a color-obsessed painter living in Los Angeles. Through her use of texture, expression, and vivid color, she seeks to invoke feelings of nostalgia, magic, intensity, and connection through emotion. The creatures, props and plants in her paintings serve as guides through different challenges as she navigates the world. Bamcat has been creating fine art paintings for galleries worldwide for over fifteen years, regularly showing with Thinkspace and Giant Robot, as well as over twenty years experience creating custom graphics and illustrations for brands with past clients including Converse, PBR, Liquid Death, and Disney. On top of her studio work, she is a practicing muralist with over fifty large-scale murals across the US and hopes to paint murals internationally in 2026.
