Group Exhibition
Black Veil Society explores the darker, more mysterious side of feminine power through a Gothic and Victorian lens. Inspired by mourning rituals, spiritualism, folklore, mythology, romance, and the macabre, this exhibition invites artists to explore themes of female empowerment, rebellion, and the tension between beauty and darkness. Consider women as witches, widows, saints, sinners, heroines, villains, ghosts, goddesses, or rebels—figures who resist expectation, reclaim their power, and transform grief or constraint into strength. We welcome work that is elegant, haunting, romantic, unsettling, or provocative, and that reimagines Gothic femininity through a contemporary perspective.
