A glimmer can be fleeting: a shaft of sunlight through a window, a familiar song, laughter shared with someone we love, the quiet wonder of nature, or a moment when the world simply feels right. Coined by renowned clinician and author Deb Dana, the term glimmer describes the small, everyday experiences that evoke feelings of joy, peace, gratitude, connection, and safety—offering a gentle counterpoint to the triggers that activate our nervous system.

Glimmer, the sixth exhibition curated by Beautiful Bizarre Magazine at Modern Eden Gallery, invites artists from around the world to explore these moments of light and emotional resonance. Bringing together leading contemporary artists alongside the winners of the 2026 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, the exhibition celebrates the extraordinary found within the ordinary: beauty that comforts, imagery that inspires, and moments that remind us to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the present.
