Ania Tomicka (b. 1985) was original born in Lodz, Poland but moved to Italy as a child. Originally inspired by manga and cartoons, her artistic pursuits turned to realism and traditional techniques after studying at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice. A year later she moved to Tuscany where she graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence. Her current paintings are inspired by the American Pop Surrealist movement and classic renaissance paintings.
