La Fleur Cachée -The Hidden Flower is a painting in which I wanted to depict the essence of Dreams: How their meaning is so hidden and yet come to us every night to tell us stories, and frighten us or enlighten us. Stories of unknown origin and unknown meaning. We are often perplexed as to what our dreams mean and how should we interpret them? What do we do with that information? Likewise my painting depicts several beings in a cave performing a ritual unknown to us. What are they doing? Who are they? One thing I know about this image is that it is a Joyful ritual of transformation and creativity. Maybe our dreams come to us to help us in our transformation and our creativity?  Maybe some mysteries cannot be explained? One thing I know is that my painting is part of a world in which transformation and creation takes place.
