    In conjunction with the Southern Graphics Council International Conference set in San Francisco this year, Modern Eden Gallery is pleased to announceOKTP,  a group exhibition curated by Nichol Markowitz. This invitational exhibition will highlight the beauty and versatility of traditional printmaking techniques through small-scale works by 17 contemporary printmaking artists.

    Featuring:Tania Arens, Sam Carr-Prindle, Hunter Buck, Paul Mullowney, Nichol Markowitz, Casey Neumann, Courtney Sennish, Meredith French, Jonathan Barcan, Myles Dunigan, Golbanou Moghaddas, Carolyn Hulbert, Nicole Maloof, Catherine Willett, Hye Young Shin, Anne Muntges, and Adrian Bertolone.

    The SGCI is the largest print organization in North America. Its annual conference is the biggest annual gathering focused on the field of printmaking. Artists from all 50 states attend the conference. Regular international attendees come from Canada, South and Central America, and Europe. While organizing a conference is a lot of work, there are significant professional benefits to the host institution, its faculty and students.

    The opening reception will be held at Modern Eden Gallery on Wednesday, March 26th from 6-10pm.  Select featured artists and show curator, Nichol Markowitz will be in attendance at the reception. The exhibition will be on display through April 5, 2014 and is free and open to the public.
