Kierstin Young (b. 1987) is a contemporary realism painter and draftswoman who is currently residing and working out of New Jersey. Her formative years were spent between two places; central new jersey and the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Living amongst such profound nature, Kierstin garnered a strong love of the outdoors which reveals itself in her work, both in literal and surreal images. Second to her love of nature is her desire to depict the human figure and aspects of the human psyche. Kierstin has shown in group exhibitions in galleries across the US, including NYC, Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco.
