    • Helen Bayly works and resides in San Francisco, where in 2001 she originally came to study painting at the San Francisco Art Institute. Her artwork explores contemporary topics through stylized mythological and religious imagery, primarily painted with monochromatic ink on large scale paper. Influenced by classical imagery used in the foundation of Western Art, Bayly enjoys the spectrum of drama and the epic nature of the human experience. Through her art she writes her unique saga borrowing classical imagery to express her relationship with the modern Californian youth culture.

With goals to become a full time Gallery Artist, Bayly has shown her work largely in the San Francisco Bay Area, completing Solo Exhibitions the past two years as well as a showing in group exhibitions for the past seven years. She has worked with a number of institutions such as 111 Minna Gallery, Lopo Gallery, 5 Claude Lane Gallery, The Medicine Agency, The California Academy of Sciences, The San Francisco Arts Commission, Space Gallery, Yerba Buena Community District, The Cartoon Art Museum, Shooting Gallery, Project One Gallery, SOMA Arts, Gallery Heist, Driftwood Gallery and Modern Eden Gallery, with write ups by Warholian and Hi-Fructose.com. ~Via Stealing Feeling
