Villalba x Valentino
December 4–8, 2019
Miami Design District

On Wednesday, December 4 we were in Miami to celebrate the launch of the collaboration between gallery artist Emilio Villalba and Valentino. For this collaboration, the artist created a limited edition series of ten hand painted Valentino Garavani VSLING bags along with a collection of apparel. Launching in tandem with opening night of Art Basel Miami Beach, the entire facade of the 3 story boutique, along with the interior granite walls were decorated with massive vinyl featuring the artist's familiar symbols and painted iconography. The evening event was hosted by Colby Mugrabi of Minnie Muse and was widely covered by press, including an event recap and photographs on Vogue.
