    • Enrique Toledo (Gonzalez) was born in Santa Clara, Cuba on January 3rd, 1966. From an early age art was always present in his life. As a young child, he was selected to participate in different national and international children's graphic contests, obtaining prizes and mentions. He graduated from the Pedagogical University of “Felix Valera” with a Bachelor of Artistic Education. His education gave him a formation in artistic creation as well as teaching art education. He carried out higher studies in Social Sciences in Havana City which gave him a career in philosophical and psychological vision of art. He taught younger generations of artists from 1996 to 2000. After that, he focused on his own art creating. Since 1992, his works has been included in numerous solo and group shows in Europe, Central America, the United States, the Caribbean, and Canada including Cores Gallery in Portugal, Cassusio Gallery in Canada, Viota Gallery in Puerto Rico and Conde Contemporary and Haven Gallery in the United States. From 2004 to 2015, his paintings have been auctioned by several auction houses, such as, Bonhams, Doyle and Skinners in the United States, Waddingtons in Canada, Fernando Duran in Spain, etc. His artworks have achieved prices above estimates. Enrique has been featured for more than 10 consecutive years in the Latin American Art magazine. Enrique is a member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) in his native Cuba.
