    • Robin Galante is inspired by the architecture, people, and spirit of San Francisco, and paints scenes that invite others to celebrate this beautiful, ever-changing city. A self-taught artist, Robin grew up in Los Altos and remembers when the valley was filled with apricot orchards rather than office buildings. After graduating from SF State, she moved back to her hometown to discover that the city had forever changed her. She narrowly escaped the Silicon Valley grind and moved back to San Francisco to pursue a more fulfilling (albeit less stable) life in the arts. After many twists and turns she now works as a full-time artist. Her work has appeared in books and publications such as SF Weekly, Classic San Francisco, from Mission Bay to Ocean Beach by Frank Dunnigan, Telegraph Hill by Art McGinn, the Richmond Review, and Yorukobu Magazine. She resides in the Outer Richmond district with her husband and two troublesome cats.
