Memories and Myths is inspired by the idea of predictive perception - the idea that the worlds of our imagination are not at all restricted to dreams, but make up almost all of what we believe is real and factual. Experiences are mostly shaped by our minds. Everything we perceive as "the truth" will pass though our unique neurological pathways and be altered by our own particular brain chemistry. We store these bits of information in our brains assuming that the information is fixed and unchanging. But accumulated memories continue to morph over time. As they evolve even more character is added to our creative filters and reality becomes more tailored. We cannot escape the world which our creative minds shape for us. When we recognize and embrace the mythology of our minds our worlds expand.
