Lacey Bryant was born in Kentucky and raised in the SF bay area where she still resides. She has a deep connection with the natural environment of California as well as with the faded Victorian houses and the various forgotten treasures she discovers walking around her city. She sets out to examine the human condition with all of it's frailty, longing and failure and hope through her haunting painted environments.
