About Us:

Modern Eden is located in San Francisco's historic North Beach neighborhood. Opened in June 2010, Modern Eden features monthly exhibitions of established and emerging artists. Our Contemporary aesthetic ranges from Realism to Surrealism with a strong focus on illustrative work.

Bradley Platz is a San Francisco based oil painter.

"There is a stillness and a heaviness that I enjoy in classical works and it is with homage to this, and with respect, that I let the past inform the modern. My work is influenced by the progression of time and the intricate language of symbols both personal and universal. To me, paintings are reliquaries for ideas and history is always involved."

Bradley is Co-Owner & Curator at Modern Eden.

Dozer is the unofficial "Mayor of Francisco Street" and by far the most popular member of our team. Dozer enjoys the beach, balls that squeak unnaturally loud, and greeting customers at the gallery. Our sweet gallery dog is a Boxer mix and a strong advocate for adopting pets from local shelters and animal welfare organizations.

Dozer is Head Greeter and Security at Modern Eden.
