    • Modern Eden Gallery presents Verdantan art exhibition inspired by the moment between Summer and Autumn. When lush abundance meets the soft decay and spoils of Fall.

    • Lioba Brückner was born 1988 and grew up in Oberhausen, Germany, a town in the Ruhr Valley, a large urban area. She has been drawing all sorts of animals and monsters since childhood.

While the subjects didn't change very much, she now creates atmospherical worlds full of fantasy creatures, seductive women and fairytales in a realistic manner. The motifes are often covered in plants and destroyed by dripping oil colour and translucent layers. Her influences are vast and range from contemporary and old masters to the fascination for nature while admiring everything that comes from Japan and science-fiction movies.

Lioba Brückner studied under Markus Lüpertz and received her diploma at the academy of arts in Düsseldorf 2012. She exhibits nationally and internationally. She lives and works in Oberhausen, Germany.
